Riga Photomonth 2018 call for entries

Riga Photomonth announces an open call for entries under the title of the upcoming festival New Chic. Photographers from all over the world are welcome to submit their photo series that are based on critical interest in the new and ever-changing conditions of photography as a medium in contemporary visual culture. Approximately 35 photo series will be selected for screening in a special event in public space on the festival's opening night on 9 May. This is a chance to contribute to one of the main photography events in the Baltic region. The deadline is 2 March and please note that there's a symbolic participation fee of 1 EUR. Festival will officially open on 9 May 6pm, followed by an opening party at Kaņepes Culture Centre that will also host the outdoor projection later that evening.
