Riga Photomonth is an international photography festival that takes place in the capital of Latvia since 2014. Riga Photomonth explores and shows photography from Northern and Eastern Europe. The festival’s public programme includes exhibitions, artist talks, workshops, lectures and film screenings. In addition Riga Photomonth hosts portfolio reviews and workshops for professionals.

Next festival will take place from 26 May until 28 June 2020. Due to the consequences of Covid-19 restrictions, most events will take place on our Facebook profile.

Riga Photomonth is organized by the association Riga Photomonth in collaboration with ISSP, FK Magazine, Latvian Museum of Photography, Riga Film Museum and other partners. Riga Photomonth 2019 is kindly supported by the State Culture Capital Foundation, Riga Municipality, the Embassy of Poland in Latvia, Danish Culture Institute, the Embassy of Slovakia, the Embassy of Estonia, Labietis, Magnum NT, and others. Since 2015 the festival director is Arnis Balčus.
