FK Prize is a contest for the emerging Latvian photographers taking place for the third time in a row. The 10 authors shortlisted for the finals will present their work, which will be assessed by the international jury – photo editor of Bird in Flight magazine Olga Osipova from Russia, associate editor and journalist at The Calvert Journal Liza Premiyak from England, as well as the editor-in-chief of FK Magazine Arnis Balčus. The jury and audience will provide their feedback on the work of photographers, but the winner will be announced in the finals. The winner will be awarded Sony camera, a publication Latvian Photography 2017, as well as his/her portfolio publication in the FK Magazine and Bird in Flight.
The shortlisted photographers are: Adelīna Darviņa, Annemarija Gulbe, Arta Kauliņa, Elizabete Ezergaile, Elīna Semane, Juris Zemītis, Laima Vainiņa, Santa Spīlberga, Toms Šķēle and Veronika Geida.
