The exhibition Bārta will feature images of Latvian photographer Imants Gross, who was born in Sweden. Bārta is a village where the author’s grandfather Miķelis Gross was born and worked as a photographer a century ago. After almost 15 visits of this village, Imants Gross gets to know the villagers, finds a new information about his grandfather and also takes photos of Bārta nowadays. He becomes a welcomed guest in initiations and wedding anniversary, takes photos of schoolchildren and also takes part in hunting.
